I haven’t been posting. I haven’t been on track whatsoever 😓. I want to get back on track. My app iTrackBites wasn’t very accurate for freestyle. I realize that I felt very deprived on freestyle. I think that’s why I started to binge so often and eventually not on any sort of track or caring about it. I did well a few times on the old points plus program. My app has that program. It has lower points for sweets. I want to give it a try. I did a blt wrap for lunch 2PP for the wrap, 2PP for the bacon, zero for the veggies and nonfat greek yogurt ranch. I counted 1PP for the cheese combined with the amount I had for breakfast. Skinny cow ice cream sandwich 4PP for dessert. I learned a few things about myself this weekend: 1. I like pasta 2. Pasta doesn’t like me 3. I ate some cake 4. That was a bad idea 5. I didn’t rest enough and wore myself out 6. I do better when I eat healthy 7. I love fresh fruit 8. I love salads 9. I love Monday’s so I can restart my week 10. I love blueberries 💙💙

7 days of having a #fab4smoothie (which clocks in between 400-500 calories!) in the morning and I’m down 1.7 lbs?! Happy day! . I challenged myself to this because I read/listened to @bewellbykelly’s book and her macro combo made a lot of sense to me. More fat, less carbs, and when eating carbs, get as much fiber as you can. This formula seems to work for me! Here are a few things to note: 1️⃣Saturday and Sunday I didn’t even have the smoothie until lunch and ate a quicker, have to run out the door breakfast and it still worked fine. 2️⃣ I found myself trying to use the Fab 4 formula for my other meals this week as well, and generally it worked. I cooked with olive oil, ate almond butter, and definitely ate more fat than a normal “on track” week would look like. 3️⃣ I ate less sugar without really trying! This was the best part. I was so focused on creating meals out of the fab 4 that i ended up staying low sugar, and I wasn’t mad! I still enjoyed something sweet most days, but there was one night where a small, 1/2 serving of ice cream was enough, date night we brought home pie after seeing Waitress and I was able to stop myself after a few bites and save some for the next day, and it was easy! 4️⃣ I didn’t actively track calories over the weekend, and I still lost! . - #2ingredientdough / #cookingfail / #tryagain / #researchisyourfriend - 2 INGREDIENT DOUGH FAIL Someone gave me some Rye flour they didnt like and I decided to try 2 ingredient dough with it today. - I learned a few things: - 1) It is not supposed to be switched 1:1. It is usually added to other flours because of its density and high absorption rate. I learned this by looking it up AFTER it didnt turn into a dough... LOL - 2) When they say dense - it is very. And it does not rise well with the normal ratio of added baking powder and salt. - 3) Adding another non self-rising flour (whole wheat) does not help. A dark chocolate fix sans sugar! This @skinnymechocolates square is sweetened with stevia and Erythritol instead of sugar! . Pros: sugar free, tastes really good, like ACTUALLY tastes good. One square is enough to satisfy a chocolate craving. 45 calories per square. . Big bonus: I’ve had a bad experience with sugar free chocolate in the past, and so far I haven’t had any issues. Granted, I’ve only ever eaten one square at a time, so there’s no overdosing on sugar alcohols, but still, no bad reactions is a good thing. . The cons: there’s still Erythritol in it, which I’ve not been responding well to in my Quest bars since they added it to their formula, so I’ve been kind of turned off by anything with Erythritol in it. Well yes, if you like your steak well done - which I dont - Im a medium rare girl! But in all fairness it didnt say what temp the end result was going to be - so lesson learned. Key Lime Fluff for tonight’s dessert . 1 Box of SF Lime Jello + 1 cup Boiling water . Stir till dissolved. Then stir in 1 cup Cold water . Set til slightly thickened, then vigorously WHISK in 1 Cup Plain Non Fat Chobani Greek Yogurt . Keep whisking & whisking until foamy & frothy, then pour into 4 pretty glass dishes for a nicer presentation. I topped ours with 1/2 a lemon pizzelle cookie for 0 Pts for half . It’s okay to stop and rest. I am tired. My body is tired. I don’t want to clean or cook or walk or do anything. So - I’m listening to my body and I’m laying still. The world we live in is so fast paced. I often can’t relax because I feel so guilty about “all I could be doing”. I have a hard time resting because I see that as weakness. This is a huge inner battle I fight within myself. I run and run until I just can’t anymore. This is not good. So - I have to learn to see resting as a kindness to myself and a way to rejuvenate so I can be the healthiest version of me. How do you include resting in your plan?

When your cold plate special looks like a pretty flower 🌺... I made deviled eggs but only used the yolk from 2 of them 🙌🏼☺️👌. You save Pts and still get plenty . I use non fat geek yogurt + a little mustard & a bit of FF miracle whip to get these fluffy & creamy and 💯 FF . I added beets and a fresh peach 🍑 to complete the plate . Soooo freakin yummy 😋. Saving Pts for a small glass of Proseco 🍾 & popcorn 🍿 later tonight for movie 🎥 night 😍. I am making sooo much progress towards balancing my food & activity these past few weeks . Breakfast was oatmeal (4pp) and a tea (0pp). I am finally feeling better so my plan for today is to get in a good workout and stay on track (and no 🍷!). This is still my go to lunch option, even after almost 2 full months of eating it everyday. I sauté chicken with dry ranch seasoning and throw it over a romaine/iceberg blend with Olive Garden lite dressing. My whole salad is usually 3 points, but can go up by a point if I’m extra hungry and I use another chicken tenderloin. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be hard. It can still be yummy. And this yummy salad helps me find the most balance that I’ve had in years. By filling up on this everyday I’m able to be a little more flexible with my dinner and dessert. Which almost (almost) makes it feel like I’m not on a diet. Someone remind me someday when I decide to try something other than #pointsplus to NOT. Pointsplus works for me. I find balance and success on it. I don’t feel nearly as deprived as I do on other plans and not nearly as sick of eating meat as I did when I was counting macros. #wwraleigh #wwpointsplus #pointsplus #weightwatchers

That’s right! I am in need of a change guys! I am going to dust off my old WW books and go for a round of Old Points Plus!!!! I will be tracking with I track bites and I have it set to smart points! I also will be weighing in Sunday morning now, and taking that one day off from tracking each week to enjoy church and my family! I may even just unplug those days!!!! I need to switch it up! I have been really trying but my body is not responding ... so I need to switch it up for a while! Weight watchers is the only plan I’ve ever had success with, but I need structure and the free foods I need to count for a while to make sure i am not eating too many calories daily!
