Would you believe me if I told you this girl thought she was fat? Or she used to weigh herself before and after she ate? Or she compared herself to everyone around her? • This girl was me almost 5 years ago. Since then I have gained between 20-25 lbs. I have stopped weighing myself before/after meals, stopped measuring out everything I ate, stopped worrying so much about what people thought about me. Looooool, so my friend made this for me 8 months ago (this was before I even had a fitness account) and I was meant to post it on my personal account and just never did cos I was scared to (posting fitness related things used to give me mad anxiety... still does to be fair) . Hiya!🌻 Just a little reminder that a weekend of having fun and indulging is not going to ruin your progress. I had THE best weekend in Bristol, could not have laughed more (ab workout?🤷🏼‍♀️) and I’m already missing @lifebyem__ 😭 We drank lots of alcohol and ate lots of yummy food. McDonald’s, pizza, Doritos, brownies etc!!🍫 Should I be eating like that all the time? No, but because it’s not good for my body. Not because I feel bad or because I should feel guilty for ruining my progress. One weekend is not going to change all your hard work. Fitness and the gym should be a part of your lifestyle, not your entire life. I stepped on the scale for the first time in 6 months and saw that I’ve gained 5 pounds 🎉💃👏🏻 A year ago I probably would have had a heart attack if I gained 5 pounds. You see, I used to be so obsessed with my weight. If I gained even a pound I would have done everything that I could to get it off. I was addicted to the scale and would weigh myself ALL THE TIME. This year I had a goal to gain muscle and get stronger at crossfit. In order to do that, I knew that I needed to eat more and gain weight. 😱This concept was so hard at first! Do you want to know one of the most freeing things I’ve ever done? I stopped weighing myself! 👏🏻I started eating more and go by the 80-20 rule. I eat good 80% of the time but allow myself to cheat 20% of the time. I LOVE ice cream and pizza rolls lol! I’ve been CONSISTENT with amazing Advocare products and workout 5 days a week. Today, I PR’d my back squat by 15lbs and squatted 210lbs (my goal this year was 200lbs)! 💪🏽 I’m stronger then I’ve ever been and feel amazing! Ladies, the scale isn’t everything! Are you confident? The band needs to be thick for these to really work well. I work these into a triset with single leg hip thrusts and banded kick backs. We do 3 sets, 10-12 reps per leg. I am blessed to have two beautiful children and feel empowered when I think about how my body has created them and carried them. I will be reading this book and educating myself more and more on essential oils! Thank you @courtneygreedy for this amazing book! I am beyond excited to learn what oils can aid with various conditions! Just yesterday I learned about which one can seriously help with collagen production and keep our skin looking youthful...one that has proven to help a few of my friend’s clients with panic attacks....and I personally have experienced the benefits of one when it came to helping me sleep!
