Although our brains can be extremely complicated, you might be surprised by how much control we have over its programming. In our unpack your black box and plan your best year workshop in Wellington last March; women were given the chance to discover their subconscious mind and how its impacting there thought process, emotions, decisions and there for the direction they choose to follow in there life. After women were able to go back years to see what their subconscious mind had left inside them, many were able to see the possibility oof a Much brighter future as one participant explained. Women were able to free themselves from many unwanted ties from the past and had great result in the decisions they made in the second part of the session which was all about planning there Best 2018. We had amazing feedback after the workshop was conducted and immediate results showed on many of our women. I didnt know the direction or the next step I wanted to take given that I am going through a lot at the moment. This workshop showed me the real power inside me and the potential I can reach. Helping women discover their inner strength is what we aim to achieve at IWI. #TBT - 4 years ago today I wrapped shooting a week in big bear with some Talented, brave and self aware people willing to dive as deep as they could with the #intention to #transform their lives through human connection. I even walked away with a boyfriend I had known for only a week. It all was a huge risk and exactly what I needed at that particular time in my life. As much as i want to call wrap and release it already I’ve realized that sometimes time just needs to do its thing and so I surrender this work still in progress and celebrate this story that’s still unraveling. It’s easy to get wrapped up in the journey and not realize how far you’ve come. Today I went to get my last name changed at the DMV and while filling out the information for my new card, I realized that I was down 35 pounds from the last time I was at the DMV applying for a new card when I was 21 years old. I quickly went back to look at pictures from when I was 21 because I honestly couldn’t believe that I was 35 pounds heavier. While looking back at pictures, I noticed the same pattern occurring in every one of my pictures. I was unhappy, insecure, unhealthy, and lost. Thankfully that was the same year I decided to take my health and fitness seriously and start on an incredible journey. It hasn’t been perfect the past three years. I have had many ups and downs. I haven’t been consistent the entire time, but I am so proud of how far I have come. I am now 24 years old and I am so happy, confident, healthy, and alive! When I began my journey I was just looking for the physical changes, but I had no idea what it was going to do to me as a person. Working on myself will forever be my greatest challenge and it will always be so rewarding. Everyone deserves this. Everyone deserves to be happy. Everyone deserves to be confident. Everyone deserves to be healthy. And everyone deserves to feel ALIVE!!! Are you ready to feel alive?

From when I started to today... Started my journey last year. I hate how I looked and felt and even after losing weight, gaining it back during pregnancy and having a baby, Im proud of my body. Since Ive started working out at @absolutefitness.cookeville last month Ive been pushed so hard. Im becoming not only physically stronger. But mentally stronger. ⏱⏱I dont have time. ⏱⏱ How many times have you said that you dont have time to meal prep or workout? Do you really lack time? Or is your health at the bottom of your priority list? 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 @djstein82 is one of the hardest working people that I know. His work day starts at 5:30am and ends anywhere between 6-8pm. He still makes it to the gym 4-6 days per week and trains for 1 hr per day. Some days he goes to hockey after his workout and gets home at midnight. And that alarm still goes off at 5:30am the next morning. 😴 and he still made time to meal prep! TGIF doesnt apply on his case either because he doesnt have scheduled days off like most of us. Since May he has maybe had 12 days off. And he NEVER complains about being tired or lacking time because he has made a CHOICE to invest this time in his health. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ We make time for what is important to us. Taking control of your workouts, nutrition, and your life is NOT easy! How many of you see a fitness models IG story of them at the gym after finishing a 12hr shift and you think: “Why can’t I get to the gym after work?” “Why can’t I keep my food on track?” 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Because it’s fucking HARD! I had tried to balance college, working full time, going to the gym regularly, and keeping my nutrition on point, and I kept failing over and over. I had to go to my full time job, because I was financing my college and had a huge monthly tuition payment to make. I had to go to college because again..I had thousands of dollars invested in my education, so skipping study sessions, or not completing my homework was NOT AN OPTION. I didn’t have any skin in the game in regards to my fitness or nutrition though. Once I had graduated college I was broke AF, living with my mom and saving up for a down payment for my first house. I wanted so desperately to lose weight and get in shape, but kept falling off with my diet, going out drinking on weekends etc. I kept telling myself that I can do this on my own, I don’t need a coach. FInally, I had enough. 3 years I had been going to the gym for and I had literally gotten NOWHERE on my own, in fact I had gained 20lbs! At this point I broke down and hired a coach well out of my price range. I had to check in with my coach weekly with my bodyweight and progress photos every Monday, so I couldn’t be fucking around on my diet over the weekend. I was held ACCOUNTABLE for my actions for the first time ever! The result? I went from 145lbs to 112lbs in 5 months. It was hard. I was tired a lot of times, and sore from the gym. But 5 months is such a small sacrifice to pay for what I have achieved since then! If the girl who used to eat fast food 4x a week can do it, so can you.

It is the weekend and this tends to be where most people falter when it comes tov staying on track. I try to save my 20% for the weekend.l because I enjoy icecream dates and bike rides on the weekend. 🍦 It is possible to live your life and achieve your health and wellness goals.

Are you a scale Nazi? How many times have you stepped on the scale expecting it to be down because youve been spot on with your nutrition only to have it go up? 🙋‍♀️ This photo is a graph of my body weight within the last 4 weeks during a mini cut. It looks like a heart rate monitor 📈 Id be lying if I said that the up days didnt rattle me. There were days when Id stand on the scale and say what in the actual fuck! There are so many reasons for weight fluctuations: ✔sodium intake ✔not enough water ✔travel ✔inflammation from a terrible leg day ✔💩 ✔hormonal cycles This is why measurements and photos are so damn important to have alongside the scale.

Youve cut carbs and taken up running.⠀ ⠀ Youre still not losing weight and you arent toned like were hoping for. ⠀ ⠀ Why the eff not? ⠀ ⠀ 👇👇👇👇⠀ ⠀ Your body adapts to the calories you expend each time you go for a run. And it does so very quickly. ⠀ ⠀ You are limited to either increasing your pace or your duration once your body has adapted until eventually you are running 5-10k and still not losing weight. ⠀ ⠀ When you lift weights you can manipulate so many variables (weight, reps, sets, tempo, frequency, exercise selection) to ensure that your body is consistently improving. ⠀ ⠀ Not to mention that toned look that you desire cant be found on the treadmill.⠀ Tone is the visibility of your muscles underneath your fat tissue and skin. ⠀ ⠀ ⬆️muscle ⬇️ fat = a toned appearance.⠀ ⠀ This requires proper nutrition and lifting weights. Do not be afraid to get under the bar ladies! 🏋️‍♀️🍑

I wish I had started sooner I hear this on a regular basis from clients. If only they had started this journey sooner. It would have saved them years of suffering through low carb diets, cleanses, and misery. Getting started is not easy. You will always find an excuse to put it off. Unfortunately there will never be a perfect time to start. Why not make TODAY the day. The day where you finally decide that you deserve a better quality of life. You DESERVE to be HAPPY & HEALTHY! Sundays are for reflecting and relaxation. What actions are you going to take this week in order to change your life? Are you going to food prep? Hire that coach? Hit the gym? Go for a bike ride? Play soccer with your kids? Taking one action at a time compounds and before you know it, your entire life has changed. You cant overhaul your life in one night but you can take an action or 2 each night. So whats it going to be?

😂 as you can see Ive been putting off stretching for a LONG time. Ive made goals to stretch X amount of times each week and still dont. I cant seem to find time to stretch for 5 mins but I have 1 hour to go to the gym each day 🤔 Obviously I have time, I just prioritize other things over stretching. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ What are you putting off?
