I’m attempting the “Kettle Bell swing” or in my case, a dumbbell swing after 6 years. I started off with a 5kg Dumbbell to warm up and get the movement right and finished with an 18kg Dumbbell. If you are looking for the single perfect exercise—one that would not only burn a crapload of calories, build muscle and boost your endurance, but would also improve your posture and keep you from getting lower back pain (if done right !!!) — you need to look no further than the kettlebell swing. The kettlebell swing works the muscles in the hips, glutes, hamstrings, lats, abs, shoulders, pecs and grip. Basically one of the best full body workouts. Its a simple and fast way to incorporate a very athletic movement into a routine safely while burning a ton of calories. I am never going to he a size 2 and in ok with that. Im not trying to be . (Nothing wrong with being a size 2 btw) I have learned to appreciate my body and the thickness and #murves I have attained throughout this journey. When I was at my lowest weight, I knew my body was not meant to be a small pettit frame. And now that I am eating more i am realistic and putting that food towards my gains and my workouts. I like food. I do not deprive myself. I went through those stages already... at the time I needed to. I needed to be strict to get me out of the hole. But now I eat more, but make better decisions about my intake and know when I can indulge and when I have to draw the line. I have my bad days; but for the most part I have my good days. I have to. I have learned and continue to learn. This is a late Post-workout, Push day, Home Gym Day! I feel better than I did yesterday but my Flu shot spot made Pushing uncomfortable af. - RIGHT 👉 IS PART 1 OF THE VIDEO! - SWIPE LEFT 👈 FOR PARTS 2 AND 3 OF THE VIDEO! - At any rate, I hit Chest, Legs and a little bit of Shoulders for todays Pushing session instead of just Chest or Legs. I did the following: Ez-Curl Unilateral Presses, Ez-Curl Hex Presses, Dumbell Floor Presses, Flyes, Dumbell bar Presses. I supersetted with Cannonball Squats, Close Stance Squats, Goblet Squats. I then moved back to Chest and did Dumbell Presses, Flyes, and Ez-Curl Floor Presses. - I then did Cannonball Squats, Sumo Dumbell Squats, Back Lunges and Goblet Squats. I used the Dumbells and Dumbell bars but since I dont have an even amount of Plates I had to use Lighter ones. - I ended the evening with the Dumbell Presses, and supersetted again with Squats.
