Time flies and things are about to get REAL...real awesome!! // It’s hard to believe we are already 2 weeks into the Beat Belly Bloat program! Tomorrow our group will start adding back in potentially inflammatory foods into their diet one at a time with breaks in between each food! Since we removed the top allergenic foods, we were able to reduce inflammation and gave our body a blank slate to work with. // Our girls have started to reduce bloating, lost pounds, experienced less overall puffiness, have gotten clearer skin, and eliminated sugar cravings! Plus they are kicking some serious bootay with the workouts! // On Monday, we add back in one food of their choice from the avoid list. I always tell our girls to add back in the food you have been missing the MOST! Once they add a food back in for one day, they will then be able take note of any symptoms they experience from that food and journal it creating their flat belly blueprint. My experience with @everly_well food sensitivity testing. 🍦🧀🥛🐄 . To be honest, I didn’t think I had any food sensitivities to be concerned about. When I got my results back today, I was shocked to find out that my body does not do well with dairy. . Ice cream, yogurt, cheese, my protein powder, @fuelforfire , etc. all have to be eliminated. The crazy thing is that I didn’t necessarily have symptoms. If I felt bloated after eating ice cream, I thought it was just because I ate the whole pint. 😉 . If you are experiencing symptoms like bloating, constipation, diarrhea, gas, undigested food in your stool, heartburn, etc. then I would definitely recommend checking out @everly_well for food sensitivity testing. Honestly, even if your not experiencing symptoms it might be a good idea! . Eating foods that you have a food sensitivity or intolerance can cause a host of issues with digestion, infection, and inflammation in the body. So I’ve just discovered that you can poach eggs in advance and they will keep in the fridge in cold water for up to 2 days... this is bloody revolutionary for my breakfast prep! I’ve tried loads of methods of microwave poaching but it’s just so hit and miss. LONG POST ALERT!!! As some of may know for the last 7 weeks I have been trying to get healthy and lose weight as I have a family history of type 2 diabetes and I want to do what I can to avoid getting it. I also have an unhealthy relationship with food for 10+ years and am a classic emotional over-eater and binger. So I was super happy to discover that I have lost 10kg/ 22lbs in bodyweight in that time. I have done this through creating a calorie defecit and keeping lifting sessions at the gym 3 or 4 times a week to ensure I lose fat and not muscle. I wasnt going to post anything yet but I am super proud of reaching this milestone as I have always struggled to control my eating. I am still sticking to my strict diet over the nezt 4/5 weeks as I want to lose a little bit more weight after which point I am going to gradually up my calorie intake until I am eating the correct amount for my body. Hopefully this means I wont pile it all back on. Its been tough but Im really proud of myself and thankful for all my friends and family who have been supportive and considerate and continue to be so whilst I am doing this. :) The first photo was taken 10 weeks ago then the next 2 were taken today which I think show some difference! #girlswholift #girlswhotrain #powerliftingwomen #powerlifting #stayingstrong #fatlossjourney #healthylifestyle #motivated #gymlife

Muscles ups 😩..... trying to get 230lbs over the bar is way harder than I thought. Friday I was barely able to get 1, earlier today I was able to do 3 and after a little more reading got 5. Form is 💩and lots of momentum but I’ll get better at it, will also include more weighted pull ups in my program and work on shoulder mobility

🤷‍♂️YOU BEEN LIE....😳 . These people are more interested in separating your money from your wallet…. period . Wouldn’t it be great to be able to eat as much as you want as often as you want and have body fat melt away while you sleep, watch TV, or sit behind your desk at work? I’d certainly go for that being able to be fit with very little or no effort at all. . Turn on the TV and what do we see? Television ads promising you weight loss and fitness with no effort. Want to lose that extra fat around your belly? Just take these pills. Walk into the bookstore and browse through the rows and rows of books advocating one diet fad or the other. . The problem is that most of them offer conflicting information. I’ll be straightforward in telling you that rather than separating the fat from your body, most of these people are more interested in separating your money from your wallet. . I’ve tried many of these diet and exercise fads and can tell you that most of them flat out do not work. Some of the diets will work in the short term but soon or later will fail, and will force your body to do things that it was designed to not do, therefore your body thinks it’s deathly ill and starts burning fat as an energy source. Losing fat is not a bad thing at all, but tricking your body into burning fat by responding with a survival mechanism is. What are the long term effects of these fad diets? Who really wants to live the type of restrictive life that these diets push on you? Who really wants to work hard and suffer for something that in 20 years from now will be the laughingstock of the fitness community? There has to be a better way… . The true path to fat loss is so simple, yet no diet book author would ever admit it. The secret is this: . Burn more calories than you eat thats it! That’s all. There’s really nothing more to it than that, and you probably already know this! Took a few weeks off from workouts and any dieting. My lack of sleep was made even worse due to insomnia caused by overtraining. Sleeping 4 hours per night sucks. Waking up 15 times during those 4 hours sucks much worse. Slept like a baby during this period, woke up 2-3 times per night at most. I saw this recipe yesterday on telly in Jamie Oliver’s 15mins Meals so I thought I give it a try...Well, the actual cooking time perhaps was 15mins but there was a lot of other fuffing about. So definitely more like 40mins for the average person. It was really good though. 🔸Pork fillet stuffed with feta cheese and wrapped in Parma ham. Pan fried. 🔹Courgettes cooked with a LOT of garlic (like “vampires, I dare ya coming near us” amount of garlic 🤣), chilli and fresh mint 🔸Quinoa (shop bought, already cooked for quickness) cooked in meat juices with sage and sundried tomato paste. Packed with flavour. Not something I would cook during the week as I like quicker meals but great Sunday dinner. Courgettes were seriously good. Ive been super quiet today. Weve been busy doing the van. Food wise, I had the rest of the omlette from yesterday and some toast for breakfast, lunch was just a jam sandwich and packet of crisps, very grab and go. And dinner was a jar of carbonara that I found at the back of the cupboard (only just in date) with some added pulled gammon that was in the slow cooker all day. A little rainy day pick me up ☕ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I love me a latte just as much as the next girl, but the reality is, lattes arent really doing me any favors. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here are some tips on how to enjoy your favorite coffees without breaking the calorie bank. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ • Dont have a latte every day! Make this a weekly or bi weekly treat and have regular coffee the Majority of the time ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ • Make it skinny. When you ask for a skinny latte its made with skim milk instead of 2% which can slash about 60 calories and a few grams of fat ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ • Skip the whip cream and toppings which can slash atleast another 60 calories and 6g of fat from a small coffee. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I love caramel machiatto once in a while and I have mine with soy milk and no caramel topping. It still comes up to about 170 calories which is a lot for something that isnt even going to keep me full or add any nutritional value. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Tag a friend who drinks a latte everyday!
